A shrine in Matsue, where paper floated on the Mirror Pond tells your fortune in love.
About this place
A shrine in Sakusa-cho, Matsue, Shimane. A god of matchmaking, it is associated with the legend of Yamata no Orochi. At the Mirror Pond in the forest behind the shrine, a popular fortune-telling by bond involves placing a coin on a piece of washi paper and floating it, judging the bond by the distance and time before it sinks. Admission to the treasure storehouse is 200 yen for junior high school students and older.
