An aquarium in Hamada, the only one in western Japan keeping beluga whales.
About this place
An aquarium with about 10,000 creatures of about 400 species. Besides beluga whale performances, it has a penguin house with 4 kinds of penguins and a large tank displaying sharks that appear in San'in myths. It also exhibits flying fish and rosy seabass, and events such as Night Aquas and backyard tours are held. There are a souvenir corner, a restaurant, and a kids' room.
