About this place
A sightseeing boat that tours the moat of Matsue Castle in about 50 minutes, in service since 1997. From the moat you can see the castle town scenery (Matsue Castle, samurai residences, and the old pines of Shiomi Nawate), the forest of Shiroyama Park, and waterside birds. The boarding places are Matsue Horikawa Fureai Plaza, Kyomise Karakoro Plaza, and Otemae Plaza; hours are 9:00 to 17:00 from March to September and 9:00 to 16:00 from October to February.
