About this place
A public bath in Yumura, Kisuki, Unnan. Located in Izumo Yumura Onsen, a hot spring area on the middle reaches of the Hii River surrounded by the green Chugoku Mountains, it has a bathhouse with the warmth of wood, and is described in the Izumo no Kuni Fudoki as the medicinal bath on the riverbank of Urushi-ni. The water is a free-flowing simple alkaline hot spring; open every day of the year.
