About this place
The Italian Embassy Villa Memorial Park is a park in Nikko, Tochigi Prefecture. It was used as the Italian Embassy villa from 1928 (Showa 3) to 1997 (Heisei 9), and the building has been repaired and restored and developed as a park open to the public. It is one of the many embassy villas of various countries built along the shore of Lake Chuzenji from the Meiji period onward. The main residence is registered as a nationally registered tangible cultural property. The British Embassy Villa is nearby, and it is also open to the public.
