About this place
The Tokushima Prefectural Awa Jurobei Yashiki is the site of the residence of Jurobei Bando, known from the ningyo joruri 'Keisei Awa no Naruto,' in Kawauchi-cho, Tokushima, Tokushima Prefecture. Selected for the Tokushima 88 Views. Designated an Awa Historical and Cultural Road. It exhibits wooden dolls used in ningyo joruri and materials, and Awa ningyo joruri performances are also held. A piece, 'Keisei Denwa Naru to ~ Ore-ore Sagi no Dan' (a scene on the 'it's me' phone scam), written to prevent 'ore-ore' fraud and planned by the Tokushima Prefectural Police, has also been performed.
