About this place
Honke Matsuura Shuzojo Co., Ltd. is a sake brewery in Oasa-cho, Naruto, Tokushima Prefecture. Founded in 1804 (Bunka 1) by the second generation, Naozo Yoshiyuki Matsuura, it is the oldest surviving sake brewery in Tokushima Prefecture, and the old brewing building, rice-polishing house and nagayamon (gatehouse) on the premises were registered as tangible cultural properties in 2002 (Heisei 14).
