About this place
Mitsugonji, Temple No. 5 of the Shikoku 36 Fudo Sacred Sites, in Ikeda, Miyoshi, Tokushima Prefecture, has about 700 peony plants of about 100 varieties, which are loved as one of its highlights. You can enjoy the peony flowers, and in addition to special goshuin stamps, peony incense and pots (limited quantity) are also sold. Best viewing is in mid to late April.
