About this place
A swimming beach in Tai, Minami, Kaifu District. A white-sand beach stretches along it, and it is known for its water quality, among the best in western Japan. A small cove within Muroto-Anan Kaigan Quasi-National Park, it is shallow and the waves are calm. A temporary Tainohama Station opens during the swimming season. Facilities are changing rooms, showers (free), toilets and a shop, and parking is for 300 cars. The beach season runs from July 12 to August 30, 2026.
