About this place
A 1,500 m swimming beach in Anan. A hidden gem for swimming, its beauty was praised by the Showa-era children's songwriter Ujo Noguchi in the lines about the view of the sea around Awashima and cool summer play on the beach. Offshore, Fukumura Iso bustles as a mecca for fishing. There are changing rooms, showers (free), toilets, a shop and more.
