About this place
The Ad Museum Tokyo is a museum themed on advertising, in Caretta Shiodome, 1-chome Higashi-Shimbashi, Minato Ward, Tokyo. It opened on 1 December 2002, run by the Yoshida Hideo Memorial Foundation, a public interest incorporated foundation that carries out research grant activities on advertising. Located on the first and second basement floors of Caretta Shiodome, next to the Dentsu head office building, it mainly holds exhibitions on advertising, and also has an attached library of about 30,000 items, centered on advertising-related books and magazines from Japan and overseas and collections of advertising award works.
