About this place
Roka Koshun-en is a Tokyo metropolitan park in Kasuya, Setagaya Ward, Tokyo. It is a scenic park created on the former residence of the great writer Tokutomi Roka, active from the Meiji to the Taisho era, and the surrounding Musashino woodland. Besides the plaza, visitors can still see Tokutomi Roka's former house and other features in the park, and catch a glimpse of how Roka lived in his later years, following the principle of tilling in fine weather and reading in the rain. The name in the urban plan is Tokyo City Planning Park No. 7-4-8 Roka Park, and the nearest station is also called Roka-koen Station.
