About this place
Ukima Park is a Tokyo metropolitan urban park (comprehensive park) centered on Ukimagaike pond, on the border between 2-chome Ukima, Kita Ward, and 2-chome Funato, Itabashi Ward, Tokyo. The Arakawa River originally flowed here, but river improvement from the Taisho to the Showa era changed its course, and part of the old river channel became a pond. Ukima Park was established in 1967. In the pond there is a small island called Ukishima. It is about 40,000 m2 (0.04 km2).
