About this place
A facility in the interior of Chichijima in Tokyo. It researches tropical fruit cultivation, pest and disease control and other subjects, and lets visitors learn about the process of food production. The exhibition area has Ogasawara endemic species, palms, tropical fruit trees and more, and depending on the season you can also see ripened tropical fruit. It is open 8:30-16:30, every day of the year.
