About this place
Sendaibori River Park is a Koto Ward park in Koto Ward, Tokyo. It is a waterside park made by filling in much of the Sendaibori River that flows through Koto Ward, with a total length of 3,700 meters, making it the largest waterside park in Tokyo. The area through which the Sendaibori River flows had suffered severe land subsidence from the pumping up of groundwater by nearby factories and other facilities, and had become a zero-meter zone (below sea level).
