About this place
Takaoka Otogi no Mori Park is an urban park (comprehensive park) in Sano and Kamikuroda, Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture. It is operated by Mori no Fureai Club (jointly run by three companies: Tonami Kogyo, Chuetsu Ryokka and Toyama Kogyo). It is a park with a site area of 11 ha (about 2.35 times Tokyo Dome), developed by Takaoka in time for the National Urban Greening Toyama Fair (Toyama Greenery Festival) held in 1996, after the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications selected this park in 1991 as one of the Heisei Memorial Children's Forest Parks.
