About this place
Yokkamachi-dori in Inami, Nanto. At the center of Inami, a woodcarving town certified as a Japan Heritage, workshops of Inami carving stand in a row. It is a stone-paved street continuing from Inami Betsuin Zuisen-ji Temple, which has a 600-year history, and the sound of craftsmen's mallets and chisels was selected among the 100 Soundscapes of Japan Worth Preserving.
