About this place
A museum in Uozu, Toyama Prefecture. You can encounter two wonders of Toyama Bay: the buried forest, designated a national Special Natural Monument, and the mirage. You can touch with your hands tree roots preserved underwater (about 2 m in diameter, more than 500 years old), and watch images of a mirage on a 300-inch screen. In the entrance hall is the cafe KININAL.
