A natural hot spring on the bed of the Kurobe River. Get off at Kanetsuri on the Kurobe Gorge Railway.
About this place
A hot spring and riverbed visited by getting off partway at Kanetsuri Station on the toroko train of the Kurobe Gorge Railway. Going down to the river, you can dig anywhere and hot spring water wells up, letting you make and play in a natural open-air bath. The lone inn Kanetsuri Onsen Ryokan offers lodging as well as lunch (reservation required), and the station shop sells sesame dumplings and souvenirs.
