About this place
Shirasaki Marine Park is a seaside park in Obiki, Yura, Hidaka District, Wakayama Prefecture. In August 2009 it was registered as a roadside station, Michi-no-Eki Shirasaki Marine Park. The park is on the Shirasaki Coast (Shirasaki Coast Prefectural Natural Park), selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Beaches, and has many diving spots. It also has an auto campground, a shell exhibition hall, a restaurant and a diving pool.
