Opened in autumn 2023 as the first roadside station in Kainan. The name Sakuasu is a coined word combining fish, fruit, play, and a nest where people gather, and also carries the meaning of an exchange place that sells and serves local crops and seafood. It has the Uomori Suisan food court.
