Overview
A stretch of Yamagata City centre where an irrigation channel has been rebuilt in stone, with shops along the water.
About this place
A water-themed space in Nanukamachi, Yamagata, where Gotenzeki, one of the "Five Weirs of Yamagata," has been restored as a stone-lined channel, and a redeveloped commercial facility making use of that scenery. The Five Weirs of Yamagata are agricultural water weirs that flow through the central city like a net.
