About this place
Sakata Kaisen Ichiba is a market in Sakata, Yamagata Prefecture. It is run by Sugawara Senpaku Co., Ltd. It is located beside Sakata Port. On the first floor, Sugawara Senpaku Sakata Kaisen Ichiba Honpo mainly sells local fish from Shonai Beach. On the second floor is Kaisen Donya Tobishima, which opened in May 2003, where visitors can enjoy meals such as seafood rice bowls. The wooden deck and the shuttle terrace offer a panoramic view of Sakata Port.
