Overview
A waterfall beyond Ginzan Onsen, visible from partway along the walking path.
About this place
A waterfall with a drop of 22 m at the entrance to Shirogane Park, at the back of the Ginzan Onsen town in Obanazawa, Yamagata. It is called a straight fall, but it has two streams, large and small, and depending on the volume a third flows, so it can also look like a branching fall. You can walk close to the plunge pool, and there is an observatory on the opposite bank. In the park's Omokageen is the entrance of the Ginko-do (Nobesawa Silver Mine ruins), which you can enter.
