About this place
Koga General Park is an urban park in Koga, Ibaraki Prefecture. Its nickname is Koga Kubo Park (adopted in 2015). It is located at 399-1 Konosu, Koga, Ibaraki Prefecture. It was designed under the supervision of landscape scholar Nakamura Yoshio (professor emeritus at Tokyo Institute of Technology). It was designed as a modern commons where citizens gather, and with an awareness of a "landscape of constant change in which human history and the changes of nature are intermingled."
