About this place
Kuromon Market is a market and shopping street in 1-chome and 2-chome Nipponbashi, Chuo Ward, Osaka, Osaka Prefecture. It extends south of Sennichimae-dori, centered on the street one block east of Sakaisuji. It is a super-wide-area shopping street, with about 150 to 160 shops lining an arcade of about 580 meters in total length extending in the shape of the character "ki" (as of 2019). The shopping street is made up of seven neighborhood associations and deals in a wide range of foodstuffs, including the three fresh categories.
