TochigiShrines & TemplesCraftsmen were gathered from all over Japan to build it, and where they settled afterwards, three crafts were born: Nikko carving in Tochigi, Suruga doll fittings in Shizuoka, and Iwatsuki dolls in Saitama. One great construction project created the crafts of three prefectures.
