Around Nakano Shrine in Kuroishi City, the autumn colors of about 130 maple trees over 100 years old are lit up. The lights are on from 16:30 to 21:00, and Fudo Falls can also be seen from the red bridge.
A chrysanthemum display and a special autumn foliage light-up are held in Hirosaki Park. The main venue is the Hirosaki Castle Botanical Garden, and the special autumn foliage light-up runs from 16:00 to 21:00.
According to the official information, it is held every year from August 2 to 7. Large Nebuta floats and haneto dancers move through the city, and the final day closes with floats on the sea and fireworks. Times and other details for 2027 will be announced later.
