Rites and traditional events that carry on each area's history, faith and way of life.
A chrysanthemum festival at Kasumigajo Park with chrysanthemum dolls and a chrysanthemum flower competition. It is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day during the period, and admission is free for junior high school students and younger.
An event in which torches are lit at the top of Mt. Goro in Midorigaoka Park, Sukagawa, with lighting scheduled for 18:30. In the daytime there are a torch procession and a workshop for making small torches, and stalls are set up along Taimatsu-dori and elsewhere.
