Rites and traditional events that carry on each area's history, faith and way of life.
Held at Kaikoen, the Komoro Castle ruins, during the autumn foliage season, the festival features a light-up around Momijigaoka and the Toshin Chrysanthemum Exhibition. On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays during the festival, Kaikoen Parking Lots 2 and 3 charge a fee.
An autumn festival at Takato Castle Ruins Park held when about 250 maple trees turn red, with events showcasing Takato's history and culture. Admission and parking are both free.

A fireworks festival held in November that began in Meiji 32 (1899). 2026 is the 120th edition; launching starts at 18:00, and the venue is Saigawa No. 2 Green Space on the west side of Nagano Ohashi Bridge.
