A bamboo lantern event that has continued in Murakami and holds its final edition this fiscal year, its 25th anniversary. It is held from 16:30 to 20:30 on both October 10 and 11.

Niigata Prefecture's chrysanthemum exhibition held on the grounds of Yahiko Shrine, where the entered chrysanthemums are also judged. It features a large landscape flower bed made of 30,000 small chrysanthemums and runs until November 24.
