A tug-of-war in Naha with a history of more than 500 years; 2026 is the 56th edition. The Hatagashira procession is scheduled from 10:25 on Kokusai-dori, and the giant tug-of-war from 13:30 at the Kumoji intersection on National Route 58.
Processions and stage performances in Ryukyu Dynasty dress take place at Shurijo Castle Park and on Kokusai-dori. On November 1 the Ryukyu Dynasty Picture Scroll Procession takes place on Kokusai-dori, scheduled from 12:30 to 15:00.
