An annual event continuing since the Edo period, held on the days of the Rooster in November to pray for good fortune and prosperous business. 2026 is a year that goes only as far as Ni-no-Tori, with Ichi-no-Tori scheduled for November 7 and Ni-no-Tori for November 19.
Held along the ginkgo-lined Koshu Kaido road, the festival features a checkpoint orienteering game, bazaars and local tourism and product stalls. This year's theme marks the 100th anniversary of the Koshu Kaido ginkgo avenue.
