Rites and traditional events that carry on each area's history, faith and way of life.
An autumn event in Kaneyama where the town's agricultural, forestry and fishery products, food and traditional performing arts come together at one venue. The venue is Green Valley Kamuro, and shuttle buses run from the surrounding car parks.
The Nanyo Chrysanthemum Festival displays chrysanthemum dolls, and at the Hana Koen venue you can view dolls made by a craftsman. The venue is Nanyo Chuo Hana Koen park, open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
A fireworks festival at Yonezawa Municipal Baseball Stadium that portrays the world of the Sengoku period with fireworks and flame effects. About 8,000 shells are launched in roughly one hour from 18:30, and paid viewing seats are available.
