Hasedera Temple in Kamakura opens for special night viewing with the autumn leaves lit up. Hours are from sunset until the gates close at 19:00, and admission is 400 yen for adults.
A fireworks festival at the confluence of three rivers on the Sagami River, launching about 10,000 fireworks, one of the largest displays in the prefecture, mainly starmines. The finale is the Great Niagara, and the event is cancelled in stormy weather.
About 1,000 fireworks are launched from a barge off Katase Beach West. It runs from 18:00 to 18:30; it is cancelled in stormy weather, with no postponement date.
