Rites and traditional events that carry on each area's history, faith and way of life.
A traditional performing art of Iya in Miyoshi City, performed in prayer for a good harvest, is staged free of charge. The night performance is at 20:00 on the 17th at the Ushiroyama Rural Stage and the daytime performance is at 10:30 on the 24th; there is no parking, so use the free shuttle bus.
Awa Odori is performed over two days around Shinmachibashi-dori in Tokushima, and the National Awa Odori Summit is also held. The "Furusato Carnival: Awa Tanuki Festival" is held on the same days.
