Togakushi Jinja
Five shrines in all, including Okusha, Chusha and Hokosha. The avenue of cedars running about 500 metres to Okusha is famous. The name comes from the myth in which the rock thrown from the heavenly cave became Mount Togakushi.
Togakushi Okusha
It stands at the end of an avenue of cedars some 500 metres long, enshrining the deity who threw the heavenly rock door.
Kuzuryusha
The land deity, held to be older than Okusha. A god of rain and of toothache.
Minakamiyama
It carries a tradition of being the oldest pyramid in the world. A mountain of shugendo practice.

Seseragi Greenway
One of the five shrines of Togakushi. Three cedars over 800 years old stand here, and a Kano-school dragon is painted on the hall ceiling.

A domain school planned by the eighth lord Sanada Yukitsura on the model of Mito's Kodokan. The original buildings remain; a national historic site.
