Tachikui ware from Tamba-Sasayama. It is fired hard without glaze. One of the Six Ancient Kilns of Japan.
Sue no Sato in Tamba-Sasayama. It displays works by the potteries, and visitors can try making pottery.
Abacuses from Ono. Bamboo and wood are shaved to make the beads and rods. Ono produces most of Japan's abacuses.
Banshu bladed tools from Miki and Ono. Scissors and small knives are made by forging.

Willow craft from Toyooka. Koriyanagi willow is woven into baskets.
Leathercraft from Himeji. It has the technique of white-tanned leather, tanned with salt and rapeseed oil.
Unka ware from Ako. The flames inside the kiln bring out a vermilion color. It once died out and was revived.
Myochin fire tongs from Himeji. They are forged by a family of armorers, and ring with a clear tone when they touch each other.
Roof tiles from Awaji. At the end of firing they are smoked to turn them silver. A production area for ibushi smoked tiles.
The puppet joruri museum in Minamiawaji. It conveys the making of the puppets and the techniques of the stage.
Sugihara paper from Taka. Paper mulberry is bleached on the snow and made into paper.
Western-style furniture from Kobe. It arose from the demand of the foreign settlement.
