Overview
A shrine in Isesaki, with the tallest torii in the prefecture.
About this place
A shrine in Gunma. Its landmark is the great torii, the tallest in Gunma, and it enshrines deities of bountiful harvests, household safety and business prosperity. Torii for fulfilled wishes, donated by people who received blessings, line the grounds in three rows for about 100 m, about 300 in number. In spring you see pale cherry blossoms against the red torii, and behind the worship hall countless dedicated white foxes stand.
