About this place
A shrine in Fukutomi, Kurayoshi, Tottori. Its founding date is unknown; it was anciently called Hachioji Daimyojin and was worshipped as the tutelary deity of the Fukutomi village. At the Meiji Restoration it was renamed Fukutomi Shrine and became a village shrine, and it is counted as one of the Eight Good-Fortune Shrines of the Inaba-Hoki Province Good-Fortune Shrine Pilgrimage.
