Overview
A post town in Hino, where old streets remain.
About this place
A post town on the Izumo Kaido in Neu, Hino, Tottori. At a crossroads of Edo-period sankin-kotai processions, remnants of the time remain, such as the honjin gate where daimyo stayed and an early Showa Western-style bank. A town where tatara ironmaking flourished, the former Neu Public Hall (now the Hino Town History and Folk Museum) is a nationally registered cultural property and a popular spot.
