About this place
Miyajima Shoyu Co., Ltd. (Miyajima Shoyu Co.,Ltd.) is a Japanese seasoning maker with its head office in Karatsu, Saga Prefecture. Founded in 1882 (Meiji 15). It makes and sells soy sauce, miso and more. Its sales area is Kyushu and part of the Chugoku region. Factories are in Karatsu and in Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture. The head office factory is in Funamiyacho, Karatsu, and the white-walled warehouse built in 1930 (Showa 5) (total floor area about 295 square meters) is a symbol of the company.
