About this place
A suspension bridge about a 30-minute walk from the Sumatakyo Onsen town in Kawanehon, Shizuoka Prefecture. The suspension bridge, 90 m long and about 8 m high, spans Lake Oma, and for safety only 10 people may cross at one time. The lake surface shines majestically through the Tyndall effect, and there is a legend that a wish for love made in the middle of the bridge will come true.
