About this place
Gonohe Makiba Onsen is a hot spring in Gonohe, Sannohe District, Aomori Prefecture. It is a hot spring located within a ranch, and has one lodging facility. One corner of the ranch had a warm spot. The hot spring developer, who ran the ranch at the time, sold most of the ranch and carried out boring to develop the spring source. The hot spring opened in 1977 (Showa 52). The many horse decorations inside the hot spring facility are because the founder, while alive, was nostalgic for the ranch days.
