About this place
Kaga Onsen-kyo is the collective name (onsen-kyo) for the hot springs in Kaga and Komatsu, Ishikawa Prefecture. It is mostly used as the name for four hot springs: Awazu Onsen in Komatsu, and Katayamazu Onsen, Yamashiro Onsen and Yamanaka Onsen in Kaga, and these are also called the "Four Hot Springs of Kaga." Because of its geography it is sometimes described as the "inner parlor of Kansai." Yukai Resort acquired the closed hotel "Kagetsuso" in Yamashiro Onsen and opened it in August 2004 as the company's first branch, "Saichoraku."
