About this place
Maneki Neko Museum is a private museum of beckoning cats at 2 Yakushicho, Seto, Aichi Prefecture. It is the largest museum of beckoning cats in Japan. It was established by the Nihon Manekineko Club, founded in 1993 (Heisei 5). It exhibits several thousand items from the personal collections of Bando Kanji and Arakawa Chihiro, organizers of the club.
