About this place
The former Head Office Main Building of the 59th Bank is a historic building in Hirosaki, Aomori Prefecture. Built in Hirosaki in 1904 as the head office of the 59th National Bank (now Aomori Michinoku Bank), it has been preserved and open to the public as the bank's memorial hall since 1967. It was designated an Important Cultural Property of Japan on 15 May 1972.
