About this place
The Hachinohe Art Museum is a municipal art museum in Hachinohe, Aomori Prefecture. The Hachinohe Art Museum opened in 1986. It was established as the first art museum in Aomori Prefecture based on the Museum Act. From its opening until 2017, it used the renovated former Hachinohe Tax Office building in Bancho in the central urban area of Hachinohe (the current Hachinohe Tax Office is near Rapia).
