About this place
The Hirosaki Museum of Contemporary Art (Hirosaki Brick Warehouse Museum of Art) is a public art museum in Hirosaki, Aomori Prefecture. It is one of the "AOMORI GOKAN," a group of five art museums in Aomori Prefecture. The "Yoshinomachi Brick Warehouse" (owned by Hirosaki City since July 2015) was renovated and developed as an arts and cultural facility. The architectural design was by Tsuyoshi Tane, who worked on projects such as the Estonian National Museum.
