About this place
The former Kamiya Denbei Inage Villa is a Western-style house at 1-8-35 Inage, Inage Ward, Chiba, Chiba Prefecture, inside the Chiba Citizens' Gallery Inage. It has two floors above ground and one basement, and was built in 1918 (Taisho 7) as a guest villa for the businessman Kamiya Denbei. Kamiya was the founder of Kamiya Bar in Asakusa, Tokyo, and Chateau Ushiku in Ushiku, Ibaraki Prefecture, and is known as the "Wine King of Japan."
